With a host of useful functions, Autocue's ranges of Broadcast Monitors are ideally suited for a full range of TV, film and broadcast applications, including VFX, editing, grading, machine room, vision gallery and on-set use.
Accepting 2K, 3G, Dual Link, HDMI and DVI inputs, almost all of the high definition signal formats you will need are supported. (E-series - no 3G/Dual Link
Now add in audio de-embedding, audio ppm meters, time code display, waveform and vectorscope (G and T-series only), cages and markers, and you have an unbeatable price/performance package.
The 24” T-series and the 17” G-series have LED backlighting; the 24” G-series and the 24" and 17" E-series have CCFL backlight system.
Both the T and G ranges come close to covering the full DCI colour space and have built in 3D LUTs to manage their colorimetry, whilst the E-series colorimetry is fully compliant to REC709/Adobe sRGB.
Editing and grading
The 24" T-series and G-series monitors have a very wide colour gamut, competently controlled by a range of colour space 3D management LUTs. They have an excellent viewing angle and conrast ratio. With just over 1 frame of latency (from I/P to screen) and audio de-embedding (in HD-SDI/HDMI) they offer a cost effective alternative in edit and grade suites.
General broadcast/VFX
The E-series monitors offer a sparkling image that is fully compliant to REC709 for all regular broadcast monitor applications.
MCR and Vision Gallery
The rack mount option for the 17" G and E series monitor, coupled with full remote control capability (control up to 200 monitors via GPIB/USB from one pc) and wide viewing angle, makes these monitors ideal for Vision Gallery, Machine Room and OB trucks. Built in 3 colour tally (G-series) (2 colour in E-series) Picture-in-Picture/Picture-and-Picture and timecode display enhances the usefulness.
On Location
The robust performance of the RGB LED backlighting on the 24" T-series and 17" G-series make these monitors ideal for use on location. With a full complement of markers and cages (16:9/4:3 safe title, safe action, 15:9/14:9/13:9 and user defined), multiple colour space selections, plus useful waveform and vectorscope these monitors offer excellent value for money. The audio ppm meters and audio de-embedding to either the internal speakers or to two 3.5mm stereo audio O/P sockets allows for uncluttered monitoring of live feeds or review of recorded material. Additionally the 17" G series can be rack mounted, making it an ideal solution for a DIT's work station.
