The 12”, 17” and 20” Master Series monitors will now include HD-SDI inputs as standard, in addition to the existing composite and VGA. The LED-backlit panels have also been updated to the latest available technology, offering increased efficiency and brightness.
Mark Shoesmith, Autocue’s Hardware Director, explains, “We continually strive to offer the best available display technology to our Broadcast customers. Thanks to our unique slimline monitor design, the new Master Series monitors are still the lightest, high-bright LED backlit monitors on the market and these additional features and panel improvements keep us at the forefront of the prompting technology.”
The new Master Series on-camera units will be displayed alongside Autocue’s QMaster/QBox, the world’s only IP-based prompting system. QMaster/QBox enables prompting over a network, over any distance, including the ability to feed scripts and live updates from a newsroom/ studio gallery to a prompter in the field (as if it were in the studio).
Rachid Anis, Autocue’s Software Director, comments, “QMaster/QBox is a robust prompting software product that has been tested and refined in the most demanding live studio and field environments over the last eight years. It’s quite simply the most versatile and technologically advanced prompting solution available and that’s why the very best broadcasters from around the world have upgraded to it.”
The new Master Series prompter monitors will be shipping from July 2014.
